Erin Malley is the Artistic Director of Malleable Dance Theater, a non-profit organization founded in 2007 in New York, NY.

Her choreography has been presented internationally and nationally, most notably at the Prague International Dance Festival, Toronto International Fringe Festival, Joe’s Pub at the Dancenow Festival (NYC), HERE Arts Center (NYC), Dance Place (Washington, DC), and the Philly Fringe Festival (PA). She completed a successful residency at the Garage in San Francisco in February 2011.

Erin was Artist-in-Residence with Education for the Arts (MI), and currently conducts annual residencies at the United Nations International School (NYC).  She is a two-time recipient of the Irving S. Gilmore Emerging Artist Grant, and received an Education for the Arts Artistic Development Grant. She has studied dance with Zvi Gotheiner, Augusta Moore, and members of Batsheva Dance Company. Her choreographic studies included work with Margo Sappington and Mark Dendy. Dawn Stoppiello and Mark Coniglio of Troika Ranch have been her primary mentors in media and video design. She has performed the work of Emily Johnson, Charles Moulton, David Dorfman, Lisa Race, Lar Lubovitch, and Kathleen Hermesdorf.

With a BFA in Dance and French from Western Michigan University, she was the Presidential Scholar in Dance of her graduating class. Post-graduation, she continued her studies for one year at the Centre Choregraphique National de Montpellier in France.
